Maybe now that the election is over, news agencies will be looking for general news stories and pick up mine. Outside of growing my Facebook friends list, it’s been a quiet few days with no response to the CL ads for the Massage Table.
Game ON!! First Trade Made
So I wake up this morning and check my email. There’s a message from Ed Johnson in San Francisco, saying he has a massage table that he’d like to trade for my pencil.
I call Ed and we talk. Really nice guy. He was excited about the project and was really eager to help. I’m thinking that I have to figure out how to get to San Francisco right away in a truck of some kind, so I can take advantage of Ed’s amazing offer.
Then Ed tells me he’s going to be out of town this weekend, but that he was more than happy to hold on to the table in case I was able to trade it to someone in the city, and he even offered to deliver it (within a reasonable distance). What a guy! He also gave me the idea to include a Certificate of Authenticity for the items that I trade. I just created one that will be included with every trade.
We made the trade, and I’ll be headed to San Francisco soon to meet Ed, shake his hand, and take some photos together.
In the meantime, here’s a couple of photos of this beautiful massage table that I want to trade. So if someone out there is in the massage business, or wants to be, let’s trade!
Go to the contact page to send me a message, or visit my Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/OneNo2Pencil). I’ll get back to you right away.
